Can you find a set of three? A set is either all the same or all different in three different ways. Maybe they’re all the same color, all the same shape, all the same number, but all different fills. Or maybe all different colors, different shapes, different number, and all different fills! There are lots of different ways you can spot a set.
It's a little difficult to fully explain without playing it, but once you get it, it's really addictive! Maybe it’s just me, but soon you’ll start seeing sets of things every where you go. Whoa! Once you spot the set, call it out (or don’t if you’re playing alone), and gather your three cards. Whoever has the most sets when you run out of cards in the deck is the big winner!
This kind of visual perception game is great because younger kids tend to be really good at them, so it kind of levels the playing field.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
