This tiny fuzzy plague nurse is part spooky, part cute, but mostly extremely relevant. In medieval times, doctors would put lots of smelly flowers and herbs in the bill of their mask and they thought it would keep them safe from the Black Plague... it didn’t. But their impenetrable-to-fleas leather outfits did!
