We are huge fans of the Elephant & Piggie series by Mo Willems. Fun illustrations and goofy humor keep early readers engaged and interested. These books are also fun to read aloud! In this particular story, Piggie is super excited because today is Pig Day! Hooray! There are special Pig foods! Special Pig dances! Special Games! Pig Parties! Everyone crying "Oinky! Oink! Oink!" (That's "Happy Pig Day" in Pig.) It all sounds great, but Gerald, a non-pig, feels a little... left out. Recommended for ages 2 and up!
