It was invented with its “rolling eyes, wagging tail, and contagious smile” to make people feel a little bit happier during the Great Depression, and his iconic design hasn’t changed since they gave him a bow tie in the 1950’s!

Still made by the original manufacturer in California! Kit Cat is 15.5” from ears to tail and runs on 2 C batteries (not included). So old-timey, retro nostalgic American kitschy! We love him.
