Cozy, Merry, Happy!

Wow, can you believe there are only a couple of sleeps left until Christmas? Who knew that this year would be such a wild ride? On these long nights, it feels like a good time to get warm and comfy and do a little quiet introspection, just like this half of planet Earth is doing before we swing back into the summer sun.

We started out this year by taking a big risk and saying goodbye to our little shop at La Encantada after 13 years. It was scary, but there was no going back! Since then, we have received an incredible outpouring of support from Tucson and other friends across the country, somehow, magically.

The point of this email is just to say Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for coming to us for fun things, for sharing your stories, for making us laugh, for bringing your dogs, bunnies, and baby ducks in for little pats on the head, for being delightful. Thank you for letting us be a part of childhood in Tucson (or wherever you are)! 

If you’re reading this email, that means that you and your family are a part of what made this year especially wonderful for us at the toy store. Please know how much we genuinely appreciate you all.

A little note: today is the last day to place an online order for Local Delivery before Christmas Day. If you want to come in for a last visit before Christmas, don’t forget we’re open from 10-3 on Christmas Eve, and then we’ll be closed (in store and online) on Christmas Day and 12/26. Next weekend we’ll be at the store 10-3 on New Year’s Eve and 12-5 on New Year’s Day.
Come and visit us during our walk-in shopping hours all other days from 10-5! No appointment required.
